The Picnic

A pleasurable excursion including an exquisite meal outdoors.

Whilst at the Lighthouse, find the perfect spot by the ocean to enjoy your picnic.  We provide the blanket and delicious food.  You enjoy the moment.

For your picnic help yourself to our library of books, including books about the area, bird watching and wildflowers.

There are a variety of picnic options including vegetarian options.  If you have special dietary requirements please advise us when you are booking your picnic.  Each picnic includes a sandwich, salad, dessert and freshly squeezed lemonade.  If you would like a lighter fare, we also have Afternoon Tea Picnics available which include fresh bread, cheese, tea and dessert.  Our little picnickers can choose from our children’s picnic menu.

Since the lighthouse dwelling has been renovated, you may picnic inside.  Despite the fact that the real show is outside (hard to convince minke and humpback whales to come inside), on some rainy days it is quite necessary to find nice shelter inside.
